The Candler Hotel Atlanta is the perfect choice for travelers who want to experience the best of Atlanta's history, culture, and cuisine.DiningIn 1905, Coca-Cola founder, Asa Candler, commissioned two architects to create a building that would become a landmark on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. The work of these architects, George Stewart and George E. Murphy, has been lovingly restored and reopened in the summer of 2019 as The Candler Hotel. The restoration of this stunning Beaux-Arts masterpiece represents a homecoming for Atlanta, bringing back a metropolitan polish that transcends trends and time. Within this iconic building, you will find a restaurant named By George, in honor of the architects who crafted its space. By George is the hotel's destination dining room, offering pure, classic cuisine with heavy influences from Contemporary American cooking. To complement the dishes, the restaurant has an extensive wine program and expertly crafted cocktails. The restaurant is open throughout the day, and the outward-facing design is fitting for a location that has so much to offer. The Candler Hotel, with its towering marble columns, tinkling chandeliers, and original period elevators, is a symbol of the metropolitan refinement that existed in Atlanta's city center. By George is a reminder of this refinement, bringing back the Beaux Arts era to the heart of Atlanta. You don't want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience.
